March Mad Matness

With the warm winter that a large portion of the United States is experiencing, it is not a stretch to think that a lot of us our experiencing Spring Fever!  We at PatioandYards.com are adding products as fast as we can for your Spring and one of the newest items that we just love are our Mad Mat outdoor rugs.
Most outdoor plastic mats on the market today are made from a combination of virgin polypropylene (PPL) and polystyrene. Mad Mats plastic is completely different. First, pure polypropylene is recycled from used soda bottles, milk bottles, packing, etc. They use only the highest grade of this recycled PPL. Then the PPL  is combined with state of the art conditioners and U.V. inhibitors to produce soft, resilient colorfast threads.

The soft tubular (think spaghetti) threads don’t absorb dirt or stains (think red wine spill) of any kind. Leaves, debris and food spills are easily rinsed away with a garden hose. They are truly carefree! THIS IS A MAJOR ADVANTAGE OF MAD MATS! Most outdoor rugs are a dense weave of spun poly thread. They hold moisture for days which then gets tracked into the house. Grass, food and dirt seep into the fiber where they remain until the rug is pulled up and washed….and dried….and put back in place. YUCK!
Mad Mats breathe. They don’t trap water so they won’t mildew and they won’t rot wooden decks. Water goes right through them and evaporates right back out of them. Walking on Mad Mats the morning after a rainy night will leave your feet dry enough to walk right into the house. The warp is polyester thread which does not rot or mildew either. You put it down and……that’s it!
Our Mad Mats come in sizes 4x6, 5x8 and 6x9 and we ship them for free. To receive a 10% discount during the month of March, use Coupon Code # 3marmm.
Now as for Sinbad, the 1968, 37’ all wooden Egg Harbor boat that will be the beneficiary of your purchase of a Mad Mat or two, sadly, no work was performed during the month of February.

PatioandYards.com was a brand new website as of just last month. To say that the masses have not found us is a true enough statement, however, one brave sole, did find us and purchased of all things a beautiful  5' x 8' Oriental Garland  Mad Mat. Congratulations to Shirla Miller of Anchorage, Alaska for being our 1st and so far only customer! Our profit of $19.00 was not enough to get our Master Craftsman Pat Crusse of Crusin’s Classics to even think about starting to work on Sinbad.

So onward .... March into Spring!

March Mad Matness starts today!
